About this role & what walk-ins usually test
International inbound and outbound voice support with a typing and domain test. Clear grammar and pronunciation matter more than experience.
Typical rounds at the venue
- HR round (direct walk-in)
- Operations round
- Typing test and domain test
Questions you should rehearse
- Introduce yourself in English, then say two lines in your second language.
- Have you handled inbound or outbound calls or chat before?
- Can you join immediately?
- Are you based in Chennai, or willing to move within the cab boundary?
On-the-day tips
- Write 'Ranjana' or 'Harishma' at the top of your resume, as the listing asks.
- The minimum typing standard is 25 wpm at 90 percent accuracy. Accuracy matters as much as speed.
- If you have arrears, say so at the start. The listing accepts them, and hiding them only wastes time at document check.
Who this drive suits
This is one of the more open voice drives in Chennai this month. The listing accepts any graduate, says arrears can be considered, and takes freshers up to 4 years' experience. The designation is Executive or Senior Executive depending on your experience.
You need English plus one other language. The listing does not say which, so Tamil, Hindi or any other Indian language you speak well should count. Mention it in your introduction.
The pay band is Rs 3 to 4 LPA. The listing does not give a separate fresher number for this process. For comparison, a domestic voice drive at the same venue that ended on 16 October listed Rs 2.25 LPA for freshers, so expect international voice to sit above that.
Rounds and the typing test
| Round | What to expect |
|---|---|
| HR | Background, joining date, shift comfort |
| Operations | A call scenario with a team lead; grammar, sentence construction and pronunciation are checked |
| Typing and domain test | At least 25 words per minute at 90 percent accuracy, plus a short process or customer service test |
The typing test is where many voice candidates are surprised. Practise on any free typing site for 15 minutes a day before you go, and aim for accuracy first.
Shifts and location
The listing says five working days with two rotational offs and asks for immediate joiners. It also says candidates from Chennai are preferred, or those willing to move within the boundary limit. That usually means the cab radius. Ask HR how far it extends from Pallavaram.
Getting to the venue
Featherlite The Address is on the 200 Feet Radial Road between Pallavaram and Thoraipakkam. The nearest metro stations are Meenambakkam and Airport on the Blue Line. From either, an auto or cab takes about 15 to 20 minutes. From OMR, come in via the Radial Road from Thoraipakkam.
Other Chennai drives
Firstsource at Navallur has 300 fresher seats until 30 October, but only for Arts and Science graduates with no arrears. If you have arrears or an engineering degree, Hexaware is the better fit. See all Chennai listings on the Chennai walk-ins page.
Hexaware does not charge candidates. Do not pay anyone who offers to fast-track your selection.
