What is confirmed
Reports cite a Railway Board notice dated 7 October 2026 that moves Station Master recruitment to its own Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) from 2026. I could not open that board notice directly, so treat this as reported.
The RRB employment-notices page on rrbcdg.gov.in did not show a Station Master CEN 08/2026 when checked on 21 October 2026. That means no official application window is confirmed.
What is not confirmed
Many websites have published a short notice for about 1,250 posts, applications from 27 October to 25 November 2026, a fee, and an age limit. These claims do not agree with each other. Some sites say the notice is out, while others say the detailed CEN is still to come. The official CEN is the only reliable source.
What to do now
- Check the official pages every day: rrbapply.gov.in and the RRB employment-notices page on rrbcdg.gov.in. Your regional RRB site may also post the CEN.
- Do not pay a fee to any site until the official CEN is published.
- Prepare the usual RRB subjects. Mathematics, data interpretation, reasoning, basic science and reading comprehension have appeared in RRB exams for years. Keep this preparation general until the CEN gives the pattern.
