- Time: one 120-minute clock for the whole paper. No section timer, as in the advertisement.
- Marking: +1 for a right answer, minus 0.25 for a wrong one, 0 for a blank.
- Level: Class 12 base, the qualification for all 1,784 posts. Polity and rural questions lean on Panchayati Raj and rural schemes, because the two biggest posts are Gram Vikas Adhikari and Gram Panchayat Adhikari.
- Hindi questions are in Hindi, as in the real paper.
- Current events cover 2025. Add the last six months yourself before the exam.

Reading your score
The advertisement prints no qualifying mark. Posts go by merit, so every mark moves you up. Use the subject scores to plan your week:
- UP GK below 14 of 20: this is the biggest single block. Spend an hour a day on UP history, geography, crafts by district and State schemes.
- Computer below 11 of 15: revise CCC notes, Word and Excel shortcuts, and internet safety terms.
- Hindi below 7 of 10: sandhi, samas and spelling are quick marks once learnt.
- DI below 7 of 10: you are probably rushing. Percentages and ratios from one table should take under a minute each.
If negative marking took more than 5 marks off you, you are guessing too much. Guess only when you can rule out two options.
About previous papers
This 12-subject scheme was approved by the UP Government in December 2025, so no earlier UPSSSC paper has exactly this mix. Papers from other UPSSSC mains are still useful for UP GK and Hindi. Download them only from upsssc.gov.in, where the Commission posts answer keys. Many "previous papers" on other sites are retyped from memory and contain errors.
Take this mock again in two weeks. If your UP GK and computer scores have not moved, change how you study them, not just how long.
