CWC Recruitment 2026: 327 Assistant Manager and Junior Executive Posts, Apply by 15 November

Central Warehousing Corporation has advertised 327 posts of Assistant Manager and Junior Executive. The advertisement is CWC/I-Manpower/DR/Rectt/2026/01, dated 17 October 2026. Online registration and fee payment run 17 October to 15 November 2026.

CWC is a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution. It runs warehouses, container freight stations, inland container depots and similar logistics sites. The jobs are all India cadre.

Two groups can aim here. Graduates (any stream for JE General, science for JE Technical) go for 156 Junior Executive posts at Rs 29,000 to 93,000. Postgraduates, engineers and food or agri technologists go for 171 Assistant Manager posts at Rs 40,000 to 1,40,000.

Vacancies

Horizontal reservation sits inside these numbers. Current PwBD seats: AM General 3, Technical 2, Finance 1, Civil 1, Electrical 1, JE General 3 and JE Technical 3. Backlog PwBD seats: Finance 1, Civil 1, JE General 1 and JE Technical 2. Ex-servicemen: 11 in each JE post.

The Civil total of 22 includes 2 SC backlog seats. The other backlog entries are horizontal PwBD seats and are already inside the totals.

Who can apply

Points that trip people up:

• Final-year students are out. The final mark sheet or certificate must exist by 15 November 2026.
• CGPA must be converted to a percentage in the form, with the university's conversion rule ready for verification.
• AM (Finance): articleship does not count as experience. Only regular employment counts.
• AM (General) needs a two-year PG. A one-year PG diploma does not meet the printed rule.
• JE (Technical) lists eight B.Sc subjects. A B.Sc in Physics or Maths alone is not on the list.

Age

18 to 28 on 15 November 2026 for every post. In dates, you must be born between 16 November 1998 and 15 November 2008, both days included.

OBC (NCL) +3, SC and ST +5, PwBD +10 (stacks with SC, ST or OBC), 1984 riot-affected +5. Ex-servicemen and commissioned officers with 5 years' service get 5 years for AM posts. For JE posts, ex-servicemen deduct their military service from their age and may exceed the limit by 3 years (8 for SC and ST, 6 for OBC). No one can be over 55 with all relaxations.

OBC (NCL) certificates must be issued on or after 1 April 2026 and by 15 November 2026. EWS needs the Income and Asset Certificate from an officer not below Tehsildar.

Fee

GST included. Gateway charges are yours. Not refunded.

Selection

Online test. 202 questions (200 objective plus 2 descriptive), 230 marks, 3 hours, each section separately timed. The section mix differs by post. Full tables are on the syllabus page.

Negative marking. One-fourth of the marks of a question for each wrong answer. Blank answers carry no penalty.

Cut-offs. You need a minimum score in each section and in the total. For the Professional or Subject Knowledge section (AM Technical, Finance, Engineering, JE Technical) and for the descriptive test (all posts), the floor is 40% for UR and 35% for OBC, EWS, SC, ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen. CWC can move these floors depending on how many candidates it needs.

Shortlist ratio. AM: up to 1:5 for interview. JE: up to 1:3 for document verification.

Interview (AM only). 30 marks. Qualifying: 50% UR and EWS, 45% OBC, 40% SC, ST, PwBD, ExSM. Final merit uses 85% online exam, 15% interview.

JE merit is on online test marks after document verification.

Scores from different sessions are equated and normalised by the equi-percentile method. CWC does not share online scores with shortlisted candidates until the interview or document verification is over.

Terms

• Bond: Rs 1,00,000 for AM and Rs 50,000 for JE, to serve at least two years.
• Posting: all India cadre, anywhere in India or abroad. New joiners may have to spend a set period at field units.
• Probation as per CWC rules.
• Benefits: basic pay plus IDA, other allowances, CPF, contributory pension, gratuity, LTC, performance-related pay where admissible, and medical cover for self and dependants.
• Interview and DV at Delhi. Outstation candidates called for DV or interview are reimbursed AC III tier rail or bus fare by the shortest route, or actual cost if lower, on proof of travel. Incomplete documents mean no reimbursement.

Before 15 November

1. List every post you qualify for. You can apply for more than one, with a separate form and fee each. The PDF says tests for different posts may be held together or separately, on one day or several. Never file twice for the same post: only the latest complete form survives and the other fee is forfeited.
2. Scan photo, signature, left thumb impression and the hand-written declaration in English. Capital letters are not accepted.
3. Get the OBC (NCL) certificate dated on or after 1 April 2026, or the EWS certificate.
