Two projects, sixteen codes
Fifteen codes sit on Chemical Biology Approaches to Understand Disease Biology, Diagnostics and Therapeutics (IICB-CB), MLP002620, tenure initially up to 31 March 2027. One PAT-I (5912606, Microbiology with NET or GATE) sits on Preclinical Biocompatibility and Large Animal Validation of Nanobiocomposite Hemostatic Scaffold (FTT070601), initially one year, extendable up to 31 March 2028.

Senior PAT codes 5912608 to 5912613 are a GLP and preclinical cluster: quality systems, LC-MS/MS, haematology and histopathology, DMPK, computerised-system validation, genetic toxicology. Those are the seats aggregators usually flatten to "life science walk-in". Read the desirable column before you queue.
5912607 is B.E. / B.Tech in IT or CSE, not a biology degree. 5912614 essential is Master's or Integrated Master's in Natural, Agricultural or Pharmaceutical Sciences, MVSc / Animal Sciences, or a Bachelor's in Engineering, Technology or Medicine; graphics and content-creation skill is desirable. 5912617 is Chemistry or Life Sciences with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Python for non-R&D project administration.
Engagement is temporary, co-terminus with the project, and cannot take total CSIR project-staff time above six years across labs. There is no regular IICB or CSIR post. Performance review can end the engagement without notice.

Educational Qualification
- PAT-I codes: M.Sc. Life Science / Human Physiology / Chemistry or the named biological degrees, B.E. or B.Tech IT or CSE (5912607), MVSc (5912615), M.Sc. Microbiology with NET or GATE (5912606), as printed against that vacancy code.
- Senior PAT: M.Sc. Life Science plus 2 years (5912604), or a doctoral degree in Science, Pharma, MD or MS plus R&D experience (GLP, bioanalysis, pathology, DMPK, genetic toxicology codes 5912608 to 5912611 and 5912613). Code 5912612 also allows a Master's or Integrated Master's in Engineering or Technology for the IT-validation seat.
- Project Scientist-I (5912616): doctoral degree in Science, or Master's in Engineering or Technology, plus 4 years' R&D. Desirable: mammalian cell culture, patient cells, cancer biology, cloning.
- Final-semester and result-awaited candidates are not eligible.
