ITBP Constable GD Sports Quota 2026: Medal Marks, PST and the 10-Mark Floor
There is no written paper. Marks come from one highest medal between 1 January 2024 and 1 November 2026. National and Khelo India participation without a medal is not eligible. Minimum mark is 10. PST and the sports trial are qualifying.

There is no written paper
Order of stages:
- Online form and fee.
- Scrutiny of the form.
- Admit card.
- Documentation with biometrics. Originals. Fail here and you do not go to PST.
- Physical Standard Test.
- Sports trial, qualifying. It does not add marks.
- Detailed medical examination.
The merit list is built from the medal / participation table, subject to PST, the trial and DME.
How marks are given
Only events from 1 January 2024 to 1 November 2026 count. Only one highest medal or participation level is used. Two medals in one competition still count as one, the higher. The floor is 10 for UR, SC, ST and OBC.
International: Department of Sports / MYAS clearance. National: State or UT representation at Senior or Junior Nationals of an MYAS-recognised federation, or National Games of the IOA, medal or position up to third. Inter-University: AIU, Inter University Sports Board, or Khelo India University Games with Department of Sports authorisation, medal or position up to third in the finals. Khelo India Youth Games: age category above 18, or Khelo India Winter Games, medal or position up to third in the finals.

A Senior National participation certificate cannot be converted into marks. A Khelo India Youth bronze is 10, which is the floor. A Khelo India Youth Games certificate from an under-18 age group does not fit the "above 18" sentence in Para-4(C).

Chest, men: general 80 unexpanded, 5 cm expansion. Relaxed: ST 76/5, hill and specified States 78/5, North-East and GTA 77/5. Weight proportionate to height and age.
The sports trial is the board watching you do the event you claimed. It is qualifying. A gold on paper and a failed trial is a failed candidate. No TA or DA. Budget for more than one day at the centre.
Documents the board opens
Matriculation or 10+2 for date of birth. Sports certificates for the 2024-2026 window. Domicile. Caste: OBC as Annexure-III plus Annexure-III(A) obtained within three years before 1 November 2026; SC / ST as Annexure-IV; EWS valid for 2025-2026 as Annexure-V. Government servants: Annexure-II NOC, or rejection at documentation. Education from a board that is not Central or State: Government of India equivalence.
