IIT BHU SLCR Selection 2026: GATE Row, Google Form, No Written Syllabus
IIT(BHU)/CE/SEC-SLCR/NMCG/26-27/61 has no printed written syllabus. Shortlisting can use a test and/or interview. JRF needs GATE or NET. Form closes 29 October 2026.

No chapter list
The notice does not print MCQ counts, negative marking or a subject syllabus. It says SLCR may set a benchmark and call only people above it for test and/or interview. The committee may not fill a post. Interview intimation is email only. No TA/DA. Selected candidates are expected to join within a month.
Work of the secretariat (not a written syllabus, but what an interview can reasonably probe): Call for Proposals, Apex Committee follow-up, contracts and compliance, utilisation certificates, partner networks, quarterly reports, and nature-based solutions (NbS) for Namami Gange Mission-II small-river rejuvenation.
JRF GATE line
Junior Research Fellow (1 post, age 30, Rs 37,000 plus HRA): Master's in Hydraulics / Geoinformatics / River Engineering / Water Resources or equivalent, GATE or NET. Desirable: river ecosystems, fieldwork, statistical tools, Python and GIS.
RA-I needs a Ph.D. or three years after M.Sc./M.Tech. with at least one SCI paper. Senior Project Scientist needs a Ph.D. and 6 to 8 years. Attendant and Assistant rows are in the PDF table. Do not copy a JRF GATE requirement onto those posts.
Age relaxation printed: five years female/SC/ST/PH, three years OBC (NCL).
Form rules
Start 8 October 2026, close 29 October 2026. Annexure-I plus certificates as one PDF on the Google form. Wrong email is your problem; the institute will not chase a dead inbox. No regularisation. HRA as per Government of India norms. Contract until August 2027.
