The lab sits at the Department of Civil Engineering under an institutional framework between the National Mission for Clean Ganga and IIT (BHU), Ministry of Jal Shakti, Namami Gange Mission-II. The work is coordinating small-river rejuvenation: calls for proposals, Apex Committee follow-up, contracts, utilisation certificates and partner networks, including nature-based solutions (NbS). JRF needs a Master's in the named hydraulics / geoinformatics / river / water-resources fields and GATE or NET. RA-I needs a Ph.D. or three years after M.Sc./M.Tech. with at least one SCI paper. Senior Project Scientist needs a Ph.D. plus 6 to 8 years. Attendant and Assistant rows mix science, engineering or diploma water-quality work with nature-based solutions and a design / architecture plus CAD path. Read the exact row in the PDF. Do not copy the JRF GATE line onto Attendant or Assistant.
Age relaxation printed: five years for female, SC, ST and PH, three years for OBC (NCL). Marks relaxation may also be granted to those groups.

Educational Qualification
- JRF (1 post): Master's in Science and Engineering in Hydraulics, Geoinformatics, River Engineering, Water Resources or equivalent, with GATE or a national-level NET as printed.
- Research Associate-I (2 posts): Ph.D. or equivalent, or three years of research after M.Sc./M.Tech. with at least one paper in an SCI journal.
- Senior Project Scientist, Professional Grade-I (1 post): Ph.D. in Environment Science, Water Resources or a relevant discipline, with 6 to 8 years of research or teaching experience.
- Project Attendant (2 posts) and Project Assistant (2 posts): science, engineering, diploma, water-quality/NbS, or Fine Arts/Design/Architecture with CAD tools, as printed against that row. Read the PDF table before you pick a post name.
