ICMR Young Professional 2026: YP-I vs YP-II, No HRA, Email by 21 October

No printed MCQ paper. Screening on eligibility. A written test, skill test or assignment may be added. YP-I is a graduate life-science post. YP-II needs 55 percent PG plus three years of dashboard work.

Selection

Last date 21 October 2026, mailbox icmr.trac@gmail.com. Screening on age, degree and post-qualification experience on that date. ICMR may hold a written test, skill test or assignment. Interview and verification dates go by email. No TA/DA. Incomplete or late applications can be dropped without a reply.

Contract: one year, extendable to three years maximum. No regular ICMR post. Guidelines: OM 16/84/2023-Admn.II/e-171470 dated 8 May 2026.

YP-I

One post, age 30, Rs 35,000, no HRA. Bachelor's in a life science / biomedical subject named in the notice. Work: literature search, proposal and project files, tracker sheets, coordination with PIs and ICMR institutes, basic data cleaning, for the TB Research Accelerator.

YP-II

One post, age 35, Rs 42,000, no HRA. PG with at least 55 percent in named CS/IT/AI subjects and three years after that degree, including dashboards or MIS and structured research data. Tools printed as desirable: Power BI / Tableau / Metabase / Superset / Qlik, SQL, R or Python, Stata / SPSS / SAS, ETL, APIs, Git, REDCap / ODK.

Experience before the essential degree does not count.
