YP-I needs a bachelor's in a life science / biomedical subject named in the notice. Desirable: a postgraduate degree, at least one year of biomedical, laboratory, public-health or health-research work, literature search and documentation, and working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint. TB or communicable-disease project coordination is extra credit.
YP-II needs a postgraduate with at least 55 percent in the named computer / IT / AI subjects and three years after that degree, including dashboards or MIS and structured research-data work. Desirable tools printed include Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, Apache Superset or Qlik, PostgreSQL / MySQL / SQL Server, R or Python, Stata / SPSS / SAS, ETL and APIs, Git, REDCap or ODK. TB or multi-site research data is extra credit.
Age, degree and post-qualification experience are reckoned on 21 October 2026. Experience before the essential degree does not count.

Screening is on the printed eligibility. ICMR may add a written test, skill test or assignment. Interview and verification dates go by email. No TA/DA. Incomplete, late or off-format applications can be rejected without correspondence. Political or outside influence disqualifies.
Contract is one year, extendable to a maximum of three years. No regular ICMR post. Selected staff must follow confidentiality, data-protection and intellectual-property rules, and may have to sign an undertaking.

Educational Qualification
- YP-I: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in life sciences or a related basic science linked to biomedical research. Named subjects include Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Genetics, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Physiology, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Immunology, Toxicology, Virology, Nutrition, Entomology or another relevant life-science subject.
- YP-II: Postgraduate degree with at least 55 percent in Computer Applications, Information Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Operating Systems, Software Engineering or Computer Graphics, plus at least three years of post-qualification experience that includes interactive dashboards or management-information systems, and work on structured research data with statistical software or programming tools.
