CSIR-IHBT Walk-in 2026: Advt 17 Dates, NET Pay Split, 10:00 am Bar
No printed MCQ syllabus. Committee may hold a same-day objective test then interview. Report 9:30 am. After 10:00 am you are out. NET or GATE can raise PAT-I pay to Rs 31,000.

Same-day test
Advertisement 17/2026 does not print question counts or negative marking. The committee may run an MCQ test and then interview the same day, or interview only. Number selected can differ from the table. English version prevails if Hindi and English differ.
NET stipend split
On codes that show (a) and (b):
- (a) Rs 31,000 plus HRA: NET (including lectureship / assistant professorship) or GATE, or national-level exams of DBT/DST or equivalent agencies.
- (b) Rs 25,000 plus HRA: everyone else on that code.
Senior PAT is Rs 42,000 plus HRA. PAT-II 17014 is Rs 28,000 plus HRA. Project Assistant-I is Rs 18,000 plus HRA. Age 35 for PAT/PA, 40 for Senior PAT, counted on that code's interview date.
Reporting
9:30 am at CSIR-IHBT, Palampur. After 10:00 am, no entry. No online interview. No TA. One form per position code. Result-awaited not eligible. Carry originals. Reach Palampur via Una/Amb or Chakki Bank, bus through Chandigarh, or Gaggal airport.
