NET pay
PAT-I: (a) Rs 31,000 plus HRA with CSIR-UGC NET, GATE or equivalent national eligibility tests; (b) Rs 25,000 plus HRA otherwise. PA-I: Rs 20,000 plus HRA. Desirable: fermented probiotics, postbiotics, gut microbiota.
Six-year bar
Total project-staff engagement in CSIR cannot exceed six years. Early exit after joining needs one month's notice or one month's stipend, and the Director's approval. No right to a permanent CFTRI post or to register for a higher degree merely because of this engagement.
