CSIR-AMPRI Syllabus 2026: RECT-02 Technical Officer Papers
Technical Officer: qualifying trade test, then 200 MCQs in 3 hours. Paper-I mental ability is +2 with no negative marking. Paper-II and III are +3 / −1 and make the merit list.

Two windows
Technical Officer and Technician (1) close 6 November 2026, 23:59 hrs. Security Officer, Security Assistant and MTS open 15 October 2026, 09:00 and close 16 November 2026, 23:59 hrs. Written tests are ordinarily at CSIR-AMPRI, Bhopal. Admit cards download only from ampri.res.in. No TA/DA except SC/ST as per Government of India rules.
Technical Officer papers
Screening Committee invites you to a qualifying trade test (practical or demonstration). Those who pass sit 200 objective questions in 3 hours, OMR or computer, English and Hindi except the English-language items. Exam standard: PG diploma / postgraduate / B.E. / B.Tech matching the post.

Paper-II and Paper-III are marked only if you clear the Paper-I threshold. Merit is Paper-II plus Paper-III.
Tie-break (CSIR letter 5-1(211)/2014-PD dated 30 May 2023): higher Paper-III, then fewer negatives on Paper-III, then fewer negatives on II+III, then older candidate, then earlier essential degree, then first-name alphabetical order.
Security posts
Security Officer: physical test, then written examination. Security Assistant: qualifying physical and personality assessment, then written examination. PwBD is not eligible for either security post.
Technician (1) uses the trade-test route printed for that cadre. Do not sit the Technical Officer three-paper set as if it were the Technician paper. MTS follows the isolated-post scheme in the PDF.
