CG Vyapam Lecturer LSL26 Syllabus 2026: Unit-wise Marks for All 8 Subjects
Every LSL26 lecturer paper is 100 marks: 60 subject, 15 pedagogy, 25 language and general studies. Here are the unit-wise marks for Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Physics, Political Science, History, Geography and Economics from the official SCERT syllabus.
The LSL26 exam is one objective paper of 100 questions, 1 mark each, in 2 hours, with one fourth of a mark deducted for each wrong answer. The syllabus for each subject is a separate PDF issued with SCERT Chhattisgarh's signature on the LSL26 syllabus page. The PDFs are scanned images, so their text cannot be searched. Forty of the 100 marks are the same for every subject. A candidate who is strong in the subject but ignores Parts B and C is giving away 40 percent of the paper.

Two details stand out. Political Science puts half of Part A, 30 marks, on the Constitution and governance. Hindi has a separate 5-mark unit on Chhattisgarhi language and literature, which is not in a standard MA Hindi course.
Part B: pedagogy, 15 marks
The same for all subjects. The official list covers:
- Educational psychology: human development (physical, mental, emotional, social, moral), adolescence, guidance and counselling, factors affecting learning, learning theories, intelligence, creativity, children with special needs, individual differences, personality theories, adjustment and motivation.
- Assessment and evaluation: types of assessment, continuous and comprehensive evaluation, achievement tests and their construction, assignments, portfolios and rubrics, feedback, qualities of a good test.
- Pedagogy: nature and scope of subjects, aims of education under the National Curriculum Frameworks of 2005 and 2023, curriculum construction and the state curriculum framework, lesson plans, teaching methods and learning resources.
- Pedagogical attitudes: knowledge and learning, teaching as a profession, constructivist classrooms, professional development of teachers, and gender in education.
Part C: language and general studies, 25 marks

How to split your time
With 100 questions in 120 minutes, you have 72 seconds a question. With one fourth deducted for a wrong answer, a guess among four options is only worth making if you can rule out at least one option.
Part B and Part C questions are usually quicker to read. Aim to finish those 40 in about 35 minutes, leaving about 85 minutes for the 60 subject questions. NEP 2020 and NCF 2023 appear in both Part B and Part C, so one revision covers two parts.
