SSC JE 2026 Practice Set: 10 Questions on Notice Rules
Ten questions on the SSC JE 2026 notice: Paper-I on 2 to 6 November, Paper-I is qualifying, Paper-II makes the merit, and the two different penalties.
This set is ten questions on the notice, not the live engineering paper. Paper-I is 2 to 6 November 2026: 200 questions, 2 hours, qualifying only. A wrong answer costs 0.25. Paper-II is 100 questions, 300 marks, and it alone makes the merit list. A wrong answer there costs 1 mark. Keep 15 minutes free. A blank answer costs nothing.
Vacancies and organisations are on the recruitment page. Pattern and topics are on the syllabus page.
How this set is built
The live Paper-I deducts 0.25. This set uses zero negative fraction so a wrong date does not look like an engineering miss. Use it to check that you have the November window, the qualifying-paper rule and the two penalties straight before you sit a full 200-question mock.

Reading your score
Ten marks. Below 7, re-read the recruitment page before you sit another engineering mock. A candidate who still thinks Paper-I is on the merit list is practising the wrong paper.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. These questions test the notice: dates, the qualifying Paper-I rule and the two penalties. The live papers use 0.25 then 1-mark negative marking.
Keshav founded StudentUpdate.in and edits every recruitment notice, syllabus page and practice set the site publishes. Each notice is read from the issuing body's PDF or portal before it goes live; dates, fees, vacancy tables and eligibility rules are copied from that document, not from other websites.
