- Essential: M.Ch. Surgical Gastro-Enterology (see Annexure-II for exact wording).
- Teaching: minimum three years as Lecturer, Registrar, Demonstrator or Resident; DM/M.Ch. years may count.
- Selection: no screening test for this super-specialty post under section J; personality test for eligible candidates.
- Fee: Rs 600 online.
There is no objective negative-marking paper in this scheme.

The commission does not print a subject MCQ list for this stage. Expect clinical and academic depth in GI surgery, teaching portfolio, research publications, medical council registration and suitability for Himachal Pradesh institutions.
