Marks, age and the OBC year
Age is 18 to 24 on 30 September 2026. SC and ST get 5 years on reserved posts, OBC-NCL 3 years, PwBD 10 / 13 / 15.
Diploma and graduate rows need 50 percent for UR, EWS and OBC-NCL, 45 percent for SC, ST and PwBD on reserved posts. Regular full-time only. Code 113 is Class 12 below graduate. Code 114 is the same plus a Domestic Data Entry Operator skill certificate of less than one year.
Date of birth is Class 10 only. OBC-NCL must be the Central List, non-creamy layer, not more than 12 months old from 30 September 2026. A state-list OBC in a Central PSU is treated as UR if the caste is not on the Central List.
No written test
Merit is the percentage in the essential qualification for that code, among people who registered on NATS or NAPS and actually applied against this opening. Then originals and IOCL's pre-engagement medical. Keep the same email and mobile through training. Bank passbook must be Aadhaar-seeded.
Stipend follows the Apprentices Act and the Rules as amended, including 2025. This PDF does not print rupees.

Educational Qualification
- Technician (codes 101 to 106): a 3-year regular full-time diploma in the named branch, 50 percent aggregate for UR, EWS and OBC-NCL, 45 percent for SC, ST and PwBD on reserved posts.
- Trade (107 to 111): matric plus a regular 2-year ITI in Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic or Machinist, NCVT or SCVT.
- Graduate (112): regular full-time BA, B.Com, B.Sc or BBA, or a graduate in any discipline, 50 percent / 45 percent as above.
- Data Entry Operator fresher (113): Class 12, below graduate, 50 percent / 45 percent.
- Data Entry Operator skilled (114): Class 12, below graduate, plus a Skill Certificate of Domestic Data Entry Operator for training of less than one year from an awarding body.
