Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, Chennai, a scientific society of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, has opened its JIT October 2026 contract cycle under Advertisement CORP/JIT/03/2026-CH. Online registration runs from 00:00 hrs on 5 October 2026 to 23:59 hrs on 26 October 2026.

Contract, not cadre
The posts are consolidated-pay contract, initially up to 3 years or till the project ends. Extension is possible. The advertisement says this does not create a right to a regular C-DAC post. You can be deputed to another project or city. Internal selects resign and join as fresh employees.

Educational Qualification
- Degree from an AICTE or UGC approved college or a recognised university, in the skill set of the post you open: AI, HPC, IoT and embedded, cyber security, full stack, cloud, quantum, PQC, data science and the other domains listed on the advertisement page.
- Last-semester students may apply. Joining waits until the exam is passed at the required score.
- If the university uses CGPA, upload the official percentage conversion. Internships, teaching, non-profit work and curriculum project placements are not counted as experience unless the post says so.
