The posts

Director, Centre for Distance and Online Education. One post, for candidates aged 50 to 57 years on the notification date. The pay follows the candidate's primary cadre.

Additional Controller of Examinations. One post on a 3-year tenure, on the Associate Professor scale of pay. Candidates need a Ph.D., or a Master's degree with at least 55 percent, as the notice states. The maximum age is 57 years.

Dean, College Development Council. One post on a 3-year tenure, on the Professor scale of pay. Candidates need an M.Phil or a Ph.D. The age must be between 52 and 57 years.

Public Relations Officer. One post at Pay Level 25, Rs 59,300 to Rs 2,17,600 per month. The maximum age is 42 years, and 47 years for SC and ST candidates. The application fee is Rs 600 for General and Rs 300 for OBC, SC and ST.

Programme Co-ordinator, NSS. One post on a 3-year tenure, on the Associate Professor scale of pay. The maximum age is 50 years. Candidates must have served as a Programme Officer in NSS for the minimum period the notice states.

Eligibility

Qualifications for the Director and Public Relations Officer posts are "as prescribed by the Syndicate". This means you must check the Syndicate's rules before you apply, since the notices do not print the detail. For the NSS post, prior service as a Programme Officer is the key requirement.

1. Download the form from the Bharathiar University website, from 1 November 2026.
2. Fill in the form for the post you want. Do not reuse a form from another post.
3. Attach attested copies of your degrees, mark sheets, experience letters and the caste certificate if you claim a reservation.
4. Pay the fee where the notice asks for it.
5. Send the form to the Registrar, or deliver it in person, so that it reaches the university by 30 November 2026, 5:30 PM.
6. Keep a receipt or the tracking proof.
